Roy Hersh review:

This forty shows the deepest darkest color of all 10–50-year-old Whites. A significant step up stylistically from the 30. Darker notes on the nose, with walnut skin, tree bark, some vinagrinho, white flowers, and coconut shell nuances. Seductive, multi-layered and intense. Medium+ weight, unctuous and richly textured, love the mouthfeel of this White. Sweet entry and imbued with gorgeous and exotic flavors of macadamia, ripe melons, and loads of salted caramel. As sweet as it seems, the actual grams per liter of residual sugar reaches a tooth rattling 169. The precision and quality of the acidity delivers a symmetry that goes a step beyond the first three, but what I’d expect from a top 40. Graceful and complex in both aromatics and flavor, this White delivers an everlasting aftertaste.
