Description

Before bottling, the carefully selected blend of wines undergoes a maturation process in French oak barrels for an average of 10 years. This blend consists of older wines that contribute to its complexity and younger wines that add a fresh fruitiness. The result is a wine with a deep brick-red color and an amber edge, accompanied by subtle aromas of nuts and red fruit preserves. On the palate, it reveals an elegant and smooth character, culminating in a delicate finish.

To preserve its quality, this wine should be stored in a place protected from light, at a temperature between 14 and 16°C, and kept in an upright position. It is ready to be enjoyed immediately and requires no decanting. It pairs perfectly as an aperitif or with nuts and sweet desserts. Serve chilled, between 14 and 16°C.

Roy Hersh review:

Impressively dark for a 10, with some ruby glints at the core. On first whiff and then taste, it is unquestionably older than stated. The bouquet is diverse, nuttiness… check … yet there is a sweet, candied nuance, floral note and out of nowhere – a smidge of blueberry and gravel stone. It melds beautifully. Medium+ body weight, densely concentrated, soft and fluid yet the richness returns in the latter going. Far more depth than most 10-year-olds! Sweet and with moderating acidity, along with tropical flavors and underlying nuttiness, all lead to a sublime mouthfeel during a medium-long finish.
