Portorol
Some friends gave us an Aperol, and we immediately had to come up with a drink combining it with port wine. The slightly bitter notes along with the fruitier notes of Aperol would pair perfectly with the richness and sweetness of port wine.
The result was best with white port wine, and we also added sparkling water to make the drink even more refreshing and inviting!
This drink screams summer and a cool refreshment in the sunshine on the terrace – it can also be enjoyed when you want to daydream about those exact moments.
Ingredients:
- 1 part Aperol
- 1 part White port wine
- 1 part Sparkling water
- Lemon juice
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Add ice cubes to a tall glass.
- Pour in the Aperol, then add the white port wine, followed by the sparkling water.
- Add a little freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Stir gently to mix the ingredients.
- Finish with a slice of lemon.
Serve the drink with a straw and enjoy the delightful taste of a fresh and sweet port wine cocktail. With this drink, you can easily dream yourself away to warmer destinations!
